Sandeep Arora is a Managing Director and the founding Principal at Alfin. 

Prior to Alfin, Sandeep had a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades in various capacities as a Trader and a Financier at Credit Suisse. As Managing Director of Fixed Income and Alternatives Financing in the Wealth Management division in Zurich, Sandeep had been pivotal in overseeing a wide range of complex financing products for ultra-high-net-worth clients, family offices, and external asset managers. His expertise encompasses collateralized portfolio financing, NAV and subscription line financing for private markets, and structured financing involving diverse asset pools. Under his leadership, the business achieved significant growth and serviced key strategic clients of Credit Suisse. 

Previously, Sandeep served as Structured Credit Trader at Credit Suisse in London, where he traded a broad array of credit and derivative products, including high-yield credit, syndicated loans, and CLO debt. His role included leading the customer finance business, managing substantial balance-sheet commitments of the bank, and pioneering innovative trading strategies in CDS index arbitrage and exotic credit derivatives.  His collaborative approach and expertise in quantitative modeling have also played a crucial role in shaping effective credit policies and valuation methodologies in the industry.

Sandeep is an active member of the Swiss Risk Association. He holds an MBA from the Oxford University and a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering from IIT-Mumbai.
